A name or place entered in a search box passes to the outside provider that operates the tool. Stamford Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own system. The search provider handles the query under its own privacy terms.

Email and contact messages are retained as needed to respond, keep a record of the exchange, or meet a legal duty. They are not sold. A message may be disclosed when required by a valid legal order.
